Spotlight Photograph: Foggy Autumn Morning on Lake Logan

Today’s Spotlight Photograph is “Foggy Autumn Morning on Lake Logan”. Last weekend I made my way down to the Hocking Hills region of Ohio. I know, what else would I be doing during the Fall color season here in Ohio? On my one hour drive down there from Columbus, I went through some pretty dense fog banks. It had me wondering if I’d even be able to shoot once I arrived.

When I got to within site of the Lake Logan, my fears became reality. I couldn’t see more than 30 feet out onto the lake. Not good. Not good at all. So I decided to drive to a spot where I knew I’d have the best opportunity for success. I set up my gear and I waited…and waited…and waited. Luckily, as the sun rose higher in the sky, it finally began to burn off some of the fog, but not all of it. Enough of the fog remained to give the scene a nice mood.
